This course develops the knowledge and practical judgement needed to understand major accident scenarios and challenge the evidence supporting process-risk decisions. The learning sequence begins with psm scope, policy and governance, then develops the tools and decisions involved in gap assessment and implementation roadmap. Participants connect these foundations with the remaining modules and complete applied work focused on implementation workshop and action ownership.

The programme is intended for process-safety and HSE personnel, engineers, operations supervisors and managers.    A readiness review checks whether the conditions for starting an activity or operation have been met.

8. Incident learning and metrics

   Protect people and stabilise the situation before beginning investigation.

9. Audit, management review and improvement

   Define the criterion before deciding whether a condition is acceptable.
