Customized Training for Organizations
Bring an approved training course into your organisational setting. In-house delivery gives a private group a shared opportunity to examine responsibilities, discuss operational interfaces and practise applying the subject to agreed examples. It can support teams in facilities, contractor management, camp services, food safety, HSE, process safety and related operational disciplines.
Start with a clear capability need
A useful brief explains what participants need to do differently after the programme. Describe the roles involved, their experience, the work setting and the problem to address. This helps distinguish a knowledge gap from an issue that may require a procedure change, equipment improvement or management decision in addition to training.
Use the approved course catalogue to identify a starting point. The course title, level, duration and delivery rules remain the basis of the proposal. Where several disciplines are involved, an approved integrated corporate programme may provide a suitable structure.
What can be contextualised
- Examples and discussion prompts based on the group’s responsibilities.
- Exercises using agreed, appropriately sanitised operating scenarios.
- Terminology and interfaces relevant to the organisation.
- Application planning that identifies actions within participants’ authority.
Contextualisation does not turn original professional-development content into an official awarding-body syllabus or create accreditation. Any external examination or award requires separately verified arrangements.
Plan the delivery setting
The venue should support the proposed group, discussion and practical activities. Before confirmation, agree the room arrangement, presentation facilities, participant materials, accessibility requirements and any site access conditions. A workshop that needs shared documents or structured team analysis must retain those learning conditions.
Where remote or blended participation is being considered, check it against the approved course delivery wording. Do not assume that an online session can replace every practical exercise without an agreed design.
From brief to proposal
- Submit the course or capability need, approximate group size, preferred location, language and timing.
- Review the learning scope and any information required to tailor the cases.
- Agree the delivery, assessment, responsibilities and commercial proposal.
- Confirm the booking through the arrangements in that proposal.
Protect operational information
Do not submit restricted drawings, personal records, contractual prices or incident details through the general enquiry form. Start with a non-confidential description. Any later sharing of organisational material needs an agreed and authorised method.
Make the learning usable
Nominate an organisational contact and identify how participants will review their learning afterwards. A useful application plan states the proposed action, the responsible person, the evidence needed and the review point. Workplace changes remain subject to the organisation’s own authority and controls.
