Training delivery options

Choose a learning setting that fits both the subject and the participants. Al-Warkaa’s approved catalogue specifies the delivery options for each course or programme. The individual course wording takes priority over these general explanations. The final format, teaching language, location and schedule must be agreed before booking.

Online / Distance Learning

Remote delivery can bring participants together without travelling to one venue. The agreed arrangements should explain how to join, what technology is required, how discussion and practical work will take place, and how assessment evidence will be submitted. Check the course delivery wording before selecting this option.

An online option does not mean that an on-demand video library or recordings are included. Availability of any recordings or additional learning media must be explicitly confirmed. Student Guide access and the course’s learning activities follow the confirmed enrolment arrangements.

Classroom training

Face-to-face delivery supports direct discussion, shared documents and group activities at an agreed venue. Review the location, schedule, preparation requirements and arrangements for any practical exercises. Classroom attendance alone does not demonstrate achievement of the course objectives; the applicable assessment and completion requirements still apply.

Corporate in-house delivery

A private organisational group can explore a subject using agreed examples and a shared operational context. Before confirmation, agree the group composition, venue, facilities, responsibilities, scope and commercial proposal. Visit in-house training for guidance on preparing a brief.

Blended delivery where appropriate

A blended design combines remote and classroom components where the approved course permits and the learning design supports it. The proposal should identify which activities happen in each setting and explain how participation and assessment connect across them. Blended delivery is not assumed to be available for every course.

Practical workshop suitability

Where a course is classroom- or in-house-preferred, preserve that preference when discussing delivery. Consider document access, group interaction, facilitation, exercise conditions and any site-specific controls. The practical purpose of an activity should remain achievable in the chosen setting.

Questions to resolve before confirming

• Does the format match the course’s approved delivery options?
• What are the teaching language, schedule and participant preparation requirements?
• What equipment, connection, venue or site arrangements are required?
• How will participants complete exercises and submit assessment evidence?
• What is included in the agreed proposal and what must the organisation provide?
